Jimini 1970 850cc

This was rescued from a breaker’s yard by its owner. It was used in the summer months only due to having no roof. It therefore makes for an excellent beach car for those sunny days.

We started the restoration by taking off all the bolted on components, stripping down the bodywork to bare metal and repairing all necessary damage.

The painting process started with an etch coat followed by high build primers and finally three coats of two pack top coat. All bolt-on parts were either powder coated or re-polished. The seats were re-upholstered and fitted as to the original specification. The engine and running gear was overhauled with no real problems.
